Rivas "Mango City" known by the countless trees that surround it, founded in 1720. Cradle of 4 heroic battles against General William Walker, who tried to take over Nicaragua between 1855 and 1860.

One of the main attractions of Rivas is the Parroquia San Pedro de Nicaragua, located on the road, the main altar is completely worked in silver and the symbols were brought from Spain.
